01 Local Data Storage

SwiftPurge stores minimal information locally in your browser's chrome.storage.local area. This data is never shared with us:

User Preferences: Your selected interface language, cleaning speed, and action limits.
Access Token: A local timestamp that records when the Advanced Mode was unlocked via the support button.
Action History: A list of cleaning tasks performed (Action type, Video Author, and Video URL) used to generate your downloadable reports.

02 Permissions Breakdown

To automate tasks on TikTok, the extension requires the following permissions:

Storage API

To remember your settings and cleaning history across browser sessions.

Tabs & ActiveTab

To verify the current page is a TikTok profile and display the automation overlay.

Host Permission (*://www.tiktok.com/*)

To technicaly interact with TikTok's interface and process cleaning actions as requested by you.

03 Data Ownership

You remain the sole owner of your data. SwiftPurge operates entirely on the client-side (your browser). We do not have a server to receive, process, or store your activity. Any report you download (HTML or JSON) is built locally on your hardware.
